Cool blonde with Igora Expert Mousse

I always have my hair bleached at the hairdresser. Afterwards, the hairdresser always applies a tint for cool blonde to achieve a beautiful, cool blonde shade. But because the tint washes out quickly on my bleached hair and the yellow tint in my hair is simply stronger, I always use various silver shampoos and care products.

Because it wasn't intense enough for me and I prefer a cool blonde hair colour, I asked my hairdresser for another alternative. He then recommended the Schwarzkopf Igora Expert Mousse - 9.5-1 Pearl Foam Tint.

three weeks after the visit to the hairdresser, as expected, an unwanted yellow tinge was visible in my hair again. So it was time to apply the foam tint. As indicated in the instructions, I used about two tennis ball-sized balls of mousse for my hair length and applied them all over damp hair. I then used a comb to evenly distribute the colour.

For colour refreshment and care, you should leave the mousse on for 3-5 minutes, for a more intense colour result even up to 20 minutes. I opted for 20 minutes to achieve the strongest possible result. Afterwards, I washed the colour out again and washed my hair normally with shampoo and conditioner.

I was more than surprised by the result. As you can see in the picture, the mousse has become very intense and my hair has a very cool, almost grey colour.

What you can also see is that the colour was not accepted equally well everywhere. But that doesn't bother me at all. On the contrary, I think it makes the whole look a bit more natural. Because it looks like the cool blonde has created strands that look very natural.

Since the Igora Expert Mousse Foam Tint is a very gentle tint, it only lasts up to 8 hair washes and washes out more and more with each hair wash. After 2 washes, the grey tinge disappeared and I had a beautiful cool blonde. I clearly liked my hair the best this way.

I think the Igora Expert Mousse Foam Tint is the perfect foam tint for colour refreshment at home, if you don't have a cool blonde at hand as a tint. The mousse would also definitely work well to prevent a yellow tint on grey hair.

The next time I use the foam tint, I will probably only leave it on for 15 minutes and hope that the grey tint won't be quite so intense.
