How to create the perfect OPI manicure
Good preparation and nail care are as much a part of a home manicure as the nail polish itself. Treat yourself to a gentle bath or exfoliation for your hands and free them from everyday stress and dead skin cells. Choose your colour and get started!
- Prepare your nails by gently pushing back your cuticles and perhaps using a buffer to gently remove the top layer of oil from the nail. This will ensure that the nail polish holds really well.
- Before application, it is important to shake the paint so that the pigments are properly mixed. This also helps to avoid streaks.
- Apply two thin coats of your favourite colour to each nail. Leave at least five minutes drying time between coats. If you have gone too far over the edge, you can simply dip a cotton bud in some nail polish remover and wipe off the edges.
- Brush a little more along the free edge of the nail to completely cover the nail and prevent chipping.
- Finally, apply the Nature Strong Top Coat. It gives extra shine and provides additional protection.
