On September 3, the 16th Pink Ribbon Charity Walk took place under excellent weather conditions. For 16 years Pink Ribbon Switzerland has been committed to the early detection of breast cancer. Over the past years, they have raised more than 2.2 million Swiss francs for important breast cancer projects and research.
This year, several thousand participants have once again set a sign of solidarity for breast cancer and walked along with the charity walk in Zurich. The four-kilometer walk is not about speed, however, but about joining forces in the fight against breast cancer.
Why is the event important to us?
Already in the years before we were a part of the Charity Walk and we definitely want to continue to support this. The topic of breast cancer is enormously important and we would also like to draw attention to it. Regular palpation, check-ups and preventive examinations are essential to fight this disease.
Often there is a fear of the unknown and one worries because one could get bad news during a check-up. But that's exactly what can help detect and fight breast cancer early. So get to know your body and thereby quickly recognize changes in the breast.
What did our booth look like at Pink Ribbon 2023?
Retrospect
We are already looking forward to next year and can hardly wait. The atmosphere at Letzigrund was breathtaking - thousands of people who want to put an end to breast cancer. Be there next year!
