This hairstyle trend is everywhere on TikTok right now. But where does the trend come from? As the name suggests, the Scandinavian hairline is inspired by the hair of Scandinavians. Especially in summer, when their hair is exposed to the sun, the baby hairs of the blond hair become lighter. The hair radiates the healthy lifestyle of the Scandinavians in nature. This is exactly the effect that the TikTok trend imitates by bleaching the baby hairs.

For the Scandi Hairline, not the entire hair is bleached, but only the small hairs around the face. For this, the baby hairs are separated with a comb and bleached separately. This colouring technique can be an addition to a balayage or simply coloured to support the sun-kissed look of natural hair.
