Why Olaplex saves your hair

Olaplex is the must-have hair care product. But what is Olaplex? In this article we show you all the different products and why you should have this miracle product at home.

Let's get this straight: It's not a simple mask or an ordinary conditioner. Olaplex is a system of Bis-Aminoprpyl Diglycol Dimaleate molecules that permanently restore the disulphite bonds (the bridges between the hair layers). This gives broken hair the care it needs. 

The inventors Dr. Eric Pressly and Dr. Craig Hawker have already been patented 8 times for Olaplex. This miracle product is the only one in the world that permanently repairs hair damaged by chemical processes such as bleaching, colouring or straightening. With Olaplex, your hair regains its former strength, structure and resilience. Thus, it is a kind of "reset" for your hair.

There are two ways to use Olaplex in the salon. Either you mix it directly into the colour when you dye your hair, thus protecting the hair during application. Or, as another option, there is also the pure Olaplex treatment, which gives the hair an incredible amount of moisture and shine.

Olaplex No. 0 is a treatment that prevents split ends and restores strength to the hair. The miracle product is a preparation for the application of the well-known Olaplex No. 3 Hair Perfector. It works like a primer and is the perfect repair booster for your hair. Best of all, you can apply it yourself right at home.

Olaplex No. 3 is the must-have for the home. It contains the same ingredients as Olaplex No. 1 and No. 2. Whether your hair has been damaged by the sun, heat, bleaching or colouring, Olaplex rebuilds the sulphur bridges in your hair. 

Work the product into the lengths and ends, as these are usually the most damaged. Leave the product on for at least ten minutes. If the hair is very damaged, you can leave it on longer. Then rinse the hair well and wash it with Olaplex shampoo and conditioner.

Olaplex Shampoo No. 4 - Repairs hair fibre connections and gently cleanses. Restore moisture and strength to your hair with every wash. 

Use Olaplex Shampoo No. 4 after the Olaplex No. 3 Hair Perfector Treatment. Apply to damp hair, massage and rinse. Repeat the process if necessary.

Olaplex Conditioner No. 5 - Restores the natural hair structure, repairs and moisturises your hair without weighing it down. Protects against frizz and gives hair maximum shine. 

After shampooing, apply the conditioner generously to your lengths and ends. Leave on for 3 minutes and rinse thoroughly.

This repairing leave-in styling cream eliminates frizz, moisturises and protects. Olaplex No. 6 also shortens the drying time when blow-drying. Eliminate frizz and flyaways for up to 72 hours.

Apply a very small amount to damp or dry hair and distribute the product over lengths and ends. Comb through the hair and style as desired.

The product sensation completes the care series. This hair oil provides incomparable shine, luminosity and suppleness. The hair structure is strengthened and repaired, flyaways and frizz are eliminated and the hair is protected from heat at the same time. The hair oil is free from parabens, sulphates and phthalates. In addition, the Bonding Oil is vegan and has been developed completely without animal testing.

Apply a small amount of the hair oil to towel-dried or completely dry hair. The hair oil does not need to be washed out afterwards. You can continue styling as usual after applying the oil.

The Bond Intense Moisture Mask, a highly concentrated, repairing 4-in-1 mask for more shine and volume, provides intensive moisture to stressed and dry hair. The hair is repaired from the inside out and bonds the disulphide bridges in the hair.

Olaplex N°8 is simply applied to washed and damp hair and massaged into lengths and ends. After 10 minutes it is washed out and performs the typical Olaplex hair miracles. The mask should be applied weekly.
