Our formula is designed to soften the beard before shaving, keep the skin moisturised and nourished during & post shaving, and provide natural antiseptic properties to reduce any nicks, bumps or razor burns. Use alongside our Shave Cream for the best shave. As always, all our creations are made cruelty free. An 1893 Fragrance - created with history in mind. When it comes to men’s grooming, classic barbershops spring to mind. The name, 1893, is inspired by the year the barbering industry was first taken seriously enough to be seen as it’s own industry rather than a trade dentists & surgeons would do on the side. 1893 saw the first ever barber school open, and our name pays homage to that. The fragrance is a balance of sweet vanilla & the spicy tones of sandalwood. The perfect blend for a gent to feel calm and relaxed, recreating the feeling of being at the barbershop.

Directions of use

Pre Shave - Add a few drops to your hands, and gently massage the oil into your face, on the areas you want to shave. From here, you can either shave the skin, or apply shave cream for an extra smooth shave. Post Shave - Once you’ve completed your shave, rub a few drops between your hands and gently massage into your face. Let the natural anti inflammatory properties sooth your face.
