Contouring
Fuller lips, defined cheekbones and an expressive look - this is no problem with the make-up technique " contouring". Find out here what you need to know about the technique used by stars and starlets and which products are best suited for this purpose.
Step 1: Determine face shape
For successful contouring, you must first determine the shape of your face. Only then can the right areas be highlighted or concealed.
Step 2: Base
The art lies in the preparation! Before you start with the actual contouring, you need to create an even base with the help of a compact powder or foundation.

Step 3: Cheekbones
To highlight the cheekbones, use a dark blush shade and apply it with a blush brush just below the bones.

Step 4: Conceal
Perfect the face shape with the dark contour powder above the forehead and along the jaw (see head shape above). The rule here is: leave out what needs to be emphasised and apply dark powder to what needs to be set in the background.

Step 5: Emphasise highlights
Now highlight the areas you want to emphasise. Take the light contour powder and apply it to the centre of the forehead, chin and nose. Blend the light and dark areas with the help of a brush to finish. This is how you create optimal transitions.
